How do I price products?

I am not in the business of gatekeeping calibration information. I want to encourage the community to help each other so we can all get more hp. I do not think these tables should be kept isolated to high end shops with deep pockets.

My products are priced according to the amount of workload it takes to cross locate each table. Cross locating can be a pain. I only have a couple raw binary files of various years that i have collected using IOTerminal. It takes time to go from one of these known locations to an unknown OS.

How do I know what these tables are?

Short Answer, I dont know. I am making educated guesses after de compiling the few binary files that I have. Along with that I rely on testing the different tables on my own vehicle and working with select tuners that are using my products on their customer vehicles.

The tables that i provide on the shop I have known good results and feedback for. Any thing that I have not fully figured out will be labeled testing.

Do I issue refunds?

Yes, there are cases in which I can not locate a table that has been requested. In this case i will either provide extra tables that were not necessarily requested or refund the purchase.

I do encourage feedback, If I have given out a table that does not work correctly I will do my best to correct the tables xdf record.

Am I a remote tuner?

No, I stay away from adjusting tables for customers except for very specific changes. In the future I will probably remove any calibration adjusting products

How does one learn how to locate background tables?

If you are interested in learning how to locate things without secret/coveted/golden files or sketchy software. Give me a PM on hptuners forums. I would be happy to discuss with you and teach you how to do this. There is no entry cost other than a whole lot of time and trial and error,

Would I take requests for new/different background tables?

Thats is a tricky question. I will accept requests to look for specific values. But this work is not guaranteed at all. It can take weeks/months to find new tables that are of any value.

Do I work on T87/T43 TCMs?

I have had a lot of requests for T87 tables. I have not ventured into this area. Maybe some day, but for now ive mainly focused on ECMs.
