What do these tables do?
Filling in the blanks, This is a list of each parameter I provide and what benefit it may give to you.
Ramp out Torque Rate @ 40Mhz
- When Traction control kicks in, this is the rate that the engine torque is added back in.
SCIAP Linear and Offset
- Available through VCM editor
- This will give you the ability to change the Linear and offset for the SCIAP Sensor
- Truck’s by default already have these values set, Camaro/Corvette will need these adjusted to add a SCIAP sensor successfully
Manifold Volume + BTM disabled by TCS are both available via VCM suite, but I can locate them if requested.
Rich Decel Enable Switch
- with rear O2 sensors removed, this fixes the glitch with short term fuel trims.
Vehicle Over speed Torque Limiting & Control
- These two tables define maximum torque limits based on vehicle speed
- In some high horse power Strip vehicles, these two tables will limit power
- Standard practice is to max these 2 tables out
Throttle Area Vs Throttle Position
- This table defines the percent area of throttle body at each throttle position
- Used mainly on Truck platforms to prevent sudden throttle opening
Throttle Max Area Vs Manifold Pressure
- When adding a larger throttle body it is important to update this table to match
Force CLO Disabled Switch
- This will disable Closed loop fueling when enabled.
Commanded Power Vs VSS and Axle Torque
- This table converts Driver requested Axle torque into a Engine Torque request
- In vehicles that utilize Driver demand tables that use Axle torque, this table is needed to allow the engine to provide more torque.
- Just bumping an Axle torque based Driver demand table will not instruct the engine to provide more Engine Torque
- This parameter can also come with a switch to enable/disable axle torque driver demand tables.
Desired Oil Pressure Tables
- This table defines commanded oil pressure.
- Desired Oil Pressure Base
- Desired Oil Pressure High Load
- Desired Oil Pressure Hysteresis
Barometer Tables
- On SCIAP Vehicles, there is a set of 3 barometer tables 65/85/100kpa
- This set of tables relates current barometer and manifold KPA and engine speed to output a reference barometer for the fueling calculation
- This table is not needed for normal sciap setups, but it will allow the vehicle to drive a ton smoother.
- (not available on 2014 vehicles)
SCIAP P101 performance Table
- This table maps the maximum airflow to SCIAP inlet pressure delta
- This is the common culprit to P101 and P1101 errors when adding SCIAP sensors
- This table comes with an maximum enable Pressure ratio parameter
